Take a look at a simple yet powerful commercial for the National Football League. This is the attitude and philosophy that every radio station (and many businesses) needs to adopt: available anytime, anywhere.
Imagine if this commercial were for a radio station, say KSBR-FM, instead of the NFL. The message would be “you can listen to us on any device, at anytime you choose. And you’ll hear more than just the one broadcast channel. You’ll get a variety of on-demand channels that reflect your interests and mirror the KSBR brand. Audio and video channels!” Wow – that would be powerful. Traditional radio stations need to continue to reach beyond FM.
The NFL got it right. Deliver content anytime, anywhere, on any device, because that’s what people want and have come to expect from great brands.
